- He served GR. Medical College & JA Group of Hospitals, Gwalior for 34 years in various capacities till his retirement as Professor & Head of Surgery and Neurosurgery in 1980
- He was a man of many qualities with great human values
- Awarded Padmashree in 1976 for his services to the mankind
- Awarded D.Lit by Jiwaji University
